We’ve framed 3 this year for clients!
This gorgeous print was in part response to a skiing trip in Gremenz, Switzerland & is also in keeping with the German northern romantic tradition, especially with Tom’s hero, Caspar David Friedrich, where the larger than life moon is a metaphor for longing and unrequited love. The print is made using two types of wood, a piece of oak veneer and a sheet of marine ply where the differences in the woodgrain add to the patina of the finished piece. This is further enhanced by the use of Hahnemuhle's antique glaze 90 g paper which has a subtle grid embossment.

1. Laid on to off White museum board, with a hand finished stained ash frame, acrylic spacers & low reflect art glass.
