First Market of the Season For
The Creative Cottage!

I decided to slow things down a bit this year and be more intentional about the events I attend, which means you'll only find The Creative Cottage at a few select markets in 2026.
I'm excited to kick things off at one of my favorites-
Filkins Vineyards Artisan Market on Saturday, June 27th from 11 AM–4 PM!🍷
There's something special about Filkins Vineyards that drew me in. I was a vendor at their Fall Market last year and it turned out to be one of my favorite markets so I am really looking forward to being a vendor at the summer market!
Just imagine a summer day at the vineyard: a glass of wine in hand, delicious food from Cousins Main Lobster Food Truck, and shopping from local small businesses. It's one of those events you don't want to miss!
I'll be bringing a mix of handmade & boutique favorites, a little home décor, a lot of fun unique gifts, and some fun new items, including the "Probably Wine" mugs, which seem perfectly fitting for the occasion. 😉
If you've been wanting to stop by and shop at The Creative Cottage in person, this is the perfect chance. I'd love to catch up, see familiar faces, and share all the new exciting changes!

The Creative Cottage had a special visitor this morning! 🦌

When I stepped outside this morning , I found a baby fawn resting on the deck of my she shed boutique. What a sweet surprise! I was able to capture a few photos and videos before quietly giving it some space.
We're hoping mama deer returns soon to reunite with her little one. Until then, this tiny guest is getting lots of admiration from a distance. ❤️

Nature has a way of bringing unexpected moments of joy right to our doorstep! ❤️

I know it’s been a little while since I last posted, and I wanted to share why. Right after Christmas, we had to say goodbye to our sweet yorkipoo TJ on 12/29/25.
TJ was part of our family for 15 incredible years, and adjusting to life without him hasn’t been easy. I needed some time to grieve and find my footing again. He was my 7-lb forever puppy and truly the best dog 🤍 I’m sharing a photo of him along with his paw print, a small piece of him we’ll always treasure.
Thank you for understanding my quiet time and for the kindness you’ve shown. I’m slowly finding my way back to The Creative Cottage and have lots planned for 2026 that I can’t wait to share.
