When choosing a blind for a bathroom or kitchen, consider the amount of water or hot steam present in the room. If a room is particularly moist, or the window is near a sink, opt for a composite (or faux) wood blind or shutter which are created to withstand more humidity than a standard wood blind, and are not damaged from contact with water.
