It’s that time of year again. With these wind gusts making large snow drifts and the quick drop in temps, snow and ice build up on your exhaust is a real possibility. So go out and check to make sure it’s clear!

With snow predicted upwards of 20” beginning Wednesday morning, please make sure your inlet and exhaust pipes for your furnace, water heater, or any other appliance remain clear of snow and ice. A blockage can cause deadly carbon monoxide to build up in your home. Also, now would be a good time to ensure your CO detector has a new battery in it, and is less than 7 years old.
