I replaced the starter on this 80's Johnson Outboard (I replaced the solenoid too... keep watch for that in the next post).

This job requires remove the starter housing, removing the old starter from the housing, installing the new starter into the housing, and reinstalling the housing onto the motor.

Did a tuneup and Waterpump on this 40hp Yamaha! Now it runs great and pumps plenty of water!
