Looking for a skilled Foreman to join our team. Job sites are located in the Hudson Valley area.
Must have a vast knowledge of everything from concept to turn-key and everything in-between. The Foreman’s primary responsibility includes managing Team Members, leading and supporting crews to achieve organizational goals. To ensure all project work is completed to contract expectations including a variety of general contracting scopes (e.g. excavating, drywall, electrical, plumbing, roofing, concrete forming and finishing). Ability to read construction drawings is a must.
We are looking for someone who can get the job done correctly and efficiently therefore a minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience in the field of general contracting is needed.
Job Type: Full-time position.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Direct activities on the job site, including but not limited to, coordinating work flow, hands on work and operating a variety of machinery.
•Manages and leads by example, following LAD Construction values; Trains Team Members on the best practices.
•Communicate production goals with crew members, supervisors and customers.
•Train and promote the development of staff in the best practices of form footings; form walls and piers; place reinforcing; set-up, pour and finish slabs; pour and finish sidewalks and curbs.
•Monitor all tools, equipment and machinery for needed maintenance; Communicate what needs to be repaired, returned or discarded to the direct Manager.
•Track and record all job expenses, including but not exclusively materials and hours worked.
•Understands overall financial aspects of each job assignment including costs, budget, timeline and expectations.
•Ensures that all team members utilize required personal protective equipment; Ensures that all safety and maintenance procedures are followed.
•Consistently looks for ways to self-improve and learn industry standards and updates.
•Interacts and provides customer service to the customer developing a partnership; provides consistent feedback to customer and provides answers as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
