Monday, June 15, tornado relief efforts:
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. throughout the week: Woodland Community Unit School District 5. Accepting donations of non-perishable food items, household cleaning items, bottled water, supplies. Also distribution center for people affected by tornado in need of these items. If you need transportation, contact Jackie Heidenreich at [email protected] ... The school district will host a free community meal at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
10 a.m. to 7 p.m.: New or gently used toy drive at CornerStone Collectibles & More, 124 N. Bloomington or 5 p.m. to dark at Marilla Park (collection by Logan's Oasis Organization )
Streator Home Savings Bank, 132 S. Monroe St.: Accepting non-perishable food donations for Streatorland Community Food Pantry
St. Vincent de Paul has disaster funds, furniture and rides available. Call 815-672-3687.
State Farm's CAT (Catastrophe) Team is stationed at 201 N. Bloomington St.
Russell Cellular, 2397 N. Bloomington St., is collecting nonperishable food items and supplies
Aleaha Bakes is selling cookies & dip duo cups for a $10 donation each with 100% of the proceeds going to relief efforts.

You must check-in with the city of Streator, City Hall at 204 S. Bloomington St. Call 815-672-2517 for more information. You will need a permit to enter restricted areas.
