JAMS Aquaponics We are dedicated to providing and installing Aquaponic systems for the everyday residence. Custom systems, Ebb and flow, floating rafts and NFT.

At Jams Aquaponics we build self watering soiless gardens fertalized by fish aquariums or ponds. From indoor/outdoor Desktop systems to large outdoor systems. Our goal is to provide you with a fool proof system so you can provide fresh produce for yourself family and neighbors. To achieve this fish species and plant species are combined to compliment eachother in a closed loop ecosystem. Nutrient

rich water from an aquarium or a pond is pumped into grow beds, plants remove the nutrients inturn cleaning and purifying the water for the fish.

Burr comb from the hives. Bees will build burr comb if the spacing between frames is too large. They will fill the space with this comb which will make hive checks and maintenance more difficult. Remove burr comb and check spacing. One benefit we will be able to melt this down into wax for candles or our jams beeswax lip balm. If anyone is interested in lip balm products message us.

Honey bee using her proboscis (tongue) to suck up water that will be used to cool the hive during hot summer days. Honey bees are fascinating, and in my opinion mesmerizing to watch.
