We're glad to announce our "Build Now, Pave Later" Program. We have created this current opportunity to give customers a chance to divide the cost of their projects, and pay over time. While current temperatures don't allow for asphalt paving, we can get to work on building a compacted stone driving surface through the Winter. Once warm weather returns, we are then able to return and pave the already prepared surface allowing the customer time in between preparing and paving. This helps to seperate the cost into at least 2 smaller invoices, instead of one invoice. Some projects may require additional invoicing and a deposit of 1/3 is required for this program. We have a lot of work to get done for the season, and we are looking to hire 2 laborers for the paving crew, and 1 position to supervise and set up/take down traffic control setups. The traffic control position will require certified training and proficiency exams to pass basic and intermediate levels, unless already possessing Intermediate WZTC as recognized by VDOT. Laborers having previous asphalt experience will be given priority. All candidates shall have a current and valid driver's license. ☀️🌡When it's scorching hot like it has been, think about roadway crews. Pros dress in pants and boots and wear protective clothing over top. Asphalt is dispatched to the jobsite at a smoking 340-350 degrees. Then there's the exhaust of pavers, rollers, trucks, and finally they feel the same ambient heat on top of all that. Tempers get short, but they're made of grit, so please cut them some slack when you are passing though the minor inconvenience of a work zone in your air conditioned vehicle. They're working hard to improve our infrastructure. 🛑🚧
