When COVID shut down our first product launch, many thought Nasoni’s story might end there. Instead, it became the moment we reimagined what was possible.

With over $5M in NIH grant funding, we’ve been building:
• Sense by Nasoni™ — a combination charger and radar health monitor that passively learns daily routines.
• The Healthy Habits Index™ (HHI) — the first behavioral health score designed to detect decline and prevent falls before they happen.

Our nomination for the 2025 Product Leader Awards isn’t just recognition of a product — it’s a signal that what we’re building matters. It’s about using science, design, and compassion to help people stay in their homes longer, safer, and with dignity.

In the coming year, you’ll see much more about HHI and Sense™, and how they can change the way we think about independence and care. This mission is personal for us — it’s the kind of solution we wish had existed for families like ours, before falls began to take their toll.

We are grateful to the NIH, our team, and our partners who believe innovation in aging and healthcare should start where life happens every day.

🚰 From the bathroom to the classroom, we're redefining what impact looks like.

This morning, our founder Steve Waddell had the privilege of presenting to the Churchland Rotary Club, where he shared the journey behind Nasoni’s smart health technology—and how it led to writing Valuepreneurs®, the most awarded entrepreneurial book ever written.

From fighting through tariffs, knockoffs, and a global pandemic, to winning over $5M in NIH grants and developing the Healthy Habits Index™, Steve’s story is one of reinvention, resilience, and relentless belief in better.

But the mission doesn’t stop with innovation.
💡 “If I had a sensor version of that, we could help spinal cord injured patients live more independently.”
That insight became our North Star—and the reason Nasoni exists.

Today, we’re building smart faucets and ambient radar systems that help people age in place, monitor health silently, and live with dignity.

And through Valuepreneurs, we’re passing those lessons on—equipping the next generation of students in Hampton Roads with the mindset to build what should exist.

🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 5 star review from Cynthia Pollard: This is a beautiful faucet

So far I have only been able to open the box as my reno have been delayed. These are the points I can make as of right now- this faucet is beautifully designed, it feels very substantial as opposed to the faucets that I have been looking at (and the one I purchased to save money and that will be returned). This faucet is not plastic and actually comes with the drain! I held off buying due to the price but after purchasing and receiving the “cheaper” version that did not come with the drain, I am convinced that the Nasoni faucet is going to be worth every penny! After purchasing everything needed for the cheaper version (that is going to be returned) I have not spent that much more to have a quality Product that by the look and feel will last the test of time VS the “cheaper” plastic faucet that I originally purchased. I will try my best to remember to come back and update after installation and use! So as compared to what i have looked at in the stores this faucet is going to be 5 star quality!

🚀 Big News at Nasoni! 🚀
We are excited to announce that Nasoni LLC has been awarded $943,848 in Year 2 funding for our NIH SBIR Phase II Grant! This funding will help us advance our Access H2O Smart Sensor Faucet, a game-changing technology designed to empower individuals with spinal cord injuries by providing greater independence for drinking and grooming. 💧
