We lost one of our best friends, Sophie, six days ago. It was super sudden and tragic. She hurt herself jumping off the couch and was in extreme discomfort and distress for a couple days before we made the very hard call to let her rest. We love and miss her with all of our hearts. It's hard to not feel the void, especially when she was always by our sides and had such a big personality.

I'm posting this, first and foremost, because it makes me feel a little better. Also, to bring up that we have lost 2 amazing dogs due to back leg injuries (there were other factors with Bailey, though). Watch them. Give them joint supplements like glucosamine.

But lastly, we know life is rough for everyone lately. We also have no idea when the Farmer's Market will resume. Hopefully soon! Alas, we wanted to let everyone know we will gladly take orders and deliver them, within reason and with good notice. After all, Sophie would want it.. and she IS the namesake of our "Sophie's Stinky Breathmints."

We also have various, cool tomato plants if anyone is thinking of making an apocalypse garden.

Thanks and be safe everyone!

Adolescent/ nearly flowering and fruiting tomatoes available! They gotta go because it's late in the season. Smaller ones are $2, larger are $3. So if you've gotten a late start or are still thinking of planting some pretty cool types of tomatoes, now is your chance 🌱💕

There's 20-some-odd tomato plants in the garden, so I was trying to be quick with pruning off branches yesterday morning before work. I completely snapped this black cherry tomato in half. After work, it still looked semi healthy, so I put it in tomato hospital (on top of the piano, under the grow light) to see if we can bring it back. I really hope so, because it's one of the two I have for ourselves (of this type)

Ellie-belly goes in tomorrow morning at 7:45am for her final round of heartworm treatment. They'll give her a shot in the morning and she will stay overnight for observation. Then, the following morning, she gets her third and final shot and, if all goes well, gets released at 4pm. This sucks. I'm glad she will (hopefully) be cured soon, but I dont like her being alone in an office for 2 days. Plus, the medication kills and dissolves the heartworms, so there's a notable chance for something like cardiac arrest, so it's scary.

She's deaf, so we've happened on ways to communicate with her. Karah made a list for the vet, and I thought it was sweet. 💕🐺
