🔧 Step-by-Step: How to Jump a Car Safely
1. Position Both Cars
Park the donor car close enough for the cables to reach, but keep both engines off.
2. Connect the Jumper Cables Correctly
1. Red cable → Dead battery positive (+)
2. Red cable → Donor battery positive (+)
3. Black cable → Donor battery negative (–)
4. Black cable → Bare metal on the dead car (ground), not the battery
⚡ Start the Engines
Start the donor car first and let it run for 1–2 minutes.
Then try to start the dead car.
🛠️ After the Start
Remove the cables in reverse order.
Keep the revived car running for at least 15–20 minutes to recharge the battery.

Never touch the metal clamps together.
Avoid jumping a frozen or leaking battery.
Follow proper cable order to avoid sparks or damage.
