Something new 🍓 strawberry butter is cooling and we are hearing the telltale pop of the jars sealing 🫙

We made the most delicious pickled peppers with the end of season garden peppers 🌶️

2 1/2 lbs peppers (I used a variety)
4 cups 5% white vinegar
1 1/2 cup water
2 tsp pickling salt
2 Tbsp white sugar
2 Tbsp pickling spice

-Pack sterilized jars with sliced peppers.
-Combine vinegar, water, salt, sugar and pickling spice in saucepan and bring to a boil.
-Stir until salt and sugar are dissolved.
-Pour hot brine into each jar, leaving 1/2” headspace.
-Wipe the rims and place lids on jars.
-Tighten rings to fingertip tightness.
-Waterbath the jars for 10 minutes (may need to be adjusted for altitude).
-Remove rings and let cool for 12 - 24 hours.

Enjoy on sandwiches, in salads or just as a quick treat by themselves 🌶️🫑
