Looking for a native shrub that does it all? American elderberry produces beautiful clusters of white flowers in spring, followed by dark purple berries that attract birds, pollinators, and other beneficial wildlife. It's also a fast-growing shrub that works great for privacy screens, rain gardens, and naturalized landscapes.
