🏠 Planning a Remodel? Protect Yourself First! 🚨
If you're hiring someone for kitchen, bathroom, or any home remodeling work, please verify they're legit before signing anything!

Not everyone who claims to be able to do the work you are desiring to do are TRULY licensed, bonded and or insured to do the work your actually looking to have done. If something goes wrong, YOU could be stuck with thousands in damages, violations, or liability.

How to protect yourself:
✅ Check their ROC license: https://roc.az.gov/
Verify it's active, current, and matches the ACTUAL work they're doing. Most businesses can not act as generals hiring other vendors to do work under their license.
✅ Ask for proof of insurance (liability + workers' comp). If they don't have it and someone gets hurt, you're liable.
✅ Get everything in writing (contract, timeline, payment schedule). No contract? Walk away.
✅ Don't pay everything upfront. Legit contractors don't demand full payment before work starts.
✅ Check reviews and references but make sure they are litigate aas anyone can post a picture or have friend as a referenece.
Bottom line: A few minutes of research now can save you a world of hurt later. Your home is a huge investment, hire people who are actually licensed, bonded, and insured to truly do the work you need. a handyman, painter, plumber, carpenter as example can not over see other trades. They truly are not licensed for this.
