We've posted before about the invasive Ornamental Pear Tree....here's another invasive tree that needs to be irradicated....Tree of Heaven. These trees are not only invasive, this particular tree is known to host the Spotted Lantern Fly which is also invasive.

It’s Bradford Pear trimming season. To properly trim your Bradford Pear, use a chainsaw to make a cut on the main trunk, as flush to the ground as possible.

It's been a few months since we've posted any updates. Time just seems to get away from us. This winter was a tough one. Equipment breakdowns seemed to be the norm for awhile. The major one was the sawmill. The ole diesel engine decided it was ready to retire before we had planned. Thankfully John had previously acquired an electric motor for it. So after running wire, breaker boxes, etc we're now back to sawing. He likes the way it's working so we're back on track again.
We hope everyone managed to get through the winter and we're all looking forward to warmer temps, cutting grass, and lots of logs.
