The successful candidate will perform kitchen and bath design, designer-drafting tasks for a kitchen-bathroom remodeling showroom. The selected employee will work with customers, helping with selection of materials, purchases, doing the design layout for customers of the materials ordered.
Essential Functions:
· Perform layout of designs using the 2020 and/or AutoCad software
· Provide customer service to ensure an excellent customer experience
· Assist the General Contractor with estimates and invoicing
· Perform retail tasks such as interacting with customers, sales, and accepting payment for purchases
· Keep the showroom well organized
· Order supplies as needed
· Answer phones and accept orders
· Place orders for materials
· Other tasks as assigned by the manager
Required Education and Experience:
· Excellent customer service skills
· Superior communication skills
· Proficient in 2020 software
· Proficient in MS Office Suite
· Proficient in working with the cloud
· Preferred – proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
· Preferred – proficiency in AutoCad
Preferred Education and Experience:
· Art, Architecture or Interior Design education preferred
· Experience within a design firm or high-end and luxury retail preferred
· Hands-on interior installation experience preferred
· 5 years’ experience in specified software
· 3 years’ experience in customer service-related work

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Full Time Position/ some Saturdays.
Travel:
Some travel may be required
