Time flies when you’re having fun! About 11 years ago we were approached by to design a few model houses for we started off with traditional models with siding and the designs and client needs kept evolving. The biggest challenge is to fit everything into such a small footprint with height and floodplain restrictions. The original model of this house came from the idea of having rooftop access and allowing the geometry of the stairs carve out the facade. We had fun designing this one, creating the break from indoor to outdoor in between the run of the stairs to meet the height restrictions. What we were not expecting was how popular this model became and the variations that came afterwards. This one in particular is our favorite one as the choice of materials, lightness of the interior stair construction, and frameless glass railings, really highlighted our vision. We are forever grateful to Denis Construction for the opportunity to help us take the first step from side hustle into our full time business. 🙏🏽

As we wrap up summer we are still daydreaming of our summer family vacation. It was the study abroad trip we never took in college and finally got to do it with our children. Together we explored some of the world’s most beautiful architectural wonders. Everyday was like being in a history book and a reminder of why we chose our careers to begin with. We came back grateful, inspired, and recharged ready to produce our best work yet. Happy Labor Day!

One of our Homestead spec homes we designed is currently on the market. This 4,000 sf home is on an acre lot zoned for single family estates, following the current density of the neighborhood. The home has a more contemporary feel with a standing seam metal roof and stucco finishes. We used a warmer color palette on the facade incorporating coral stone cladding to become a backdrop to the beautiful landscape that surrounds the neighborhood and age gracefully with the home.

On the boards: A single family ranch home with a touch of tropical modern. For this home we have angled the floor plan to maximize our client’s view of their beautiful property and frame specific views to trees that they love. We will use a simple breeze block pattern to filter light and limestone finishes throughout the facade and landscape grounding the home to the site.

We are so incredibly proud of for opening their showroom. Our dear talented friends had a brilliant vision and created this stunning design as a series of vignettes for our client to be able to showcase their wide range of beautiful kitchens, closets, and stonework. We were the Architect of Record for this job with Chris consistently supporting the Errez and ARMINA team for the past 2 years. All of the hard work led to this moment that we were finally able to celebrate and see come to life. Congratulations and thank you for the opportunity to work with you.
