A much needed vacation took me almost 9 hours north to the great P.N.W. to visit my sister and Amy. After a week I finally get to start my own paint therapy. But first who doesn't love a great furniture flip. (This was hauled in from Susanville) and then a snippet of my new floral painting I started for my bedroom.

I started this venture many years ago. Creating a space where together we can share the love of creating beautiful decor for our homes. It has been 25+ years since I opened my first shop called Helene and Friends but here we are again. Chickadee birds are known for their bravery and ability to adapt. They take on things much larger than themselves and will give 100%. That is why for many years I have called my daughters my little Chickadees. Having found a perfect name to describe this shop in Susanville, we are giving all we have to bring the joy of creating beautiful items for our homes to each of you and giving back to our community by bringing art to children for free or low cost. We look forward to continuing bringing quality workmanship to you in our furniture re-designs as well as our home decor classes, come see us soon!
