Some things, like roofs, go unnoticed for awhile and end up needing some tlc to bring them back to life 🙌🏻 Everyone was super happy with the way they turned out!

Mindy & John’s old house is finally done, and already sold!

Again, Mindy chose Gossamer Veil (SW 9165) as an all over color and then chose the June color of the month Sea Salt (SW 6204) for the bathrooms.

Walls, Ceilings, and Trim ✅

This job came with quite a few surprises, one being that no one knew the popcorn ceilings were not primed when they were originally done. Which resulted in all of them falling off when painted. That’s okay though, I went ahead and scraped every ceiling, added the texture back, and painted. From beginning to end, in both homes, and through every surprise Mindy and John have been amazing clients, and I look forward to working with them again.

Deck season is in full swing!

Today I have the pleasure of working with the McFaddens, their deck was done about 5 years ago and was in need of some major TLC this summer. Here’s a half way shot 📸

For this deck I’m using Sherwin-Williams’ Super Deck Solid Stain in the color “Russet Brown” (S-W 3045). The Super Deck Solids are durable stains that offer an opaque protection on exterior wood surfaces, it also features Sherwin-Williams’ Cool Feel Color Technology which helps reduce the surface temperature by up to 20°F making this the perfect product for those with kids and animals. And let’s be honest, we all walk outside barefoot occasionally.

Happy Juneteenth!

Today we celebrate the end of slavery in the United States of America on June 19th, 1865 — two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Not only is today a day worth recognition and celebration, but as of 2021 Juneteenth is a federal holiday!

When one of your wife’s best friends moves her business into a salon, you paint the salon 😁

Our website is live!

I just want to give a big thanks to:

all of the clients who have trusted me with their projects, all of you have been a huge support in helping Stadts Painting grow.

My wife, Kylee, who has been my biggest supporter and worked tirelessly to launch this company.

My dad & brothers who have given up their weekends and free time to be my first set of “staff” because they saw how much I was working and were willing to help ease the work load.

Jessica, for creating my business logo which captures everything I envisioned for this company.

And to all of you! Everyone who has liked and followed this page, shared posts and pictures, and referred Stadts Painting to others.

Up until now, Stadts Painting has been a dream. I still worked a full time job and did my own thing on the side, but now, because of all of you, Friday is my last day at my current company. While it’s bittersweet leaving a company that helped me grow so much, I’m so thankful I get to launch Stadts Painting full time and see where it takes us.

Again, thank you all so much, I’m stoked to see what’s next.

Mindy & John purchased their new home earlier this month (congratulations!) and wanted a few rooms painted before moving in.

Now that they’re moved in, I’ve started on their old home so that they can list it. Stay tuned for the before and after pictures of their former home.
