STRUCTURAL PRUNE: this tree had 4 competing "tops". 1 was straighter and slightly more dominant, however, since they originated near the same area, removing at the trunk would risk killing the entire top so 3 were substantially reduced with enough live branches to maintain the stubs, but force slow growth and allow the remaining top to become dominate.
Some lower limbs with large diameters were also subordinated to help stimulate more verticle growth.

We are very excited to add more sponsors on our list for Bumpkins Halloween With the help of the North Country Youth Hockey we are able to bring back this event.

Others joining us this year will be Whistle Stop Fusion Barbecue & Craft Mocktails serving up their non-alcoholic and kid friendly drinks and Critters Hotspot that was a fan favorite for sure...

However many don't know but this event would definitely not be made possible without the owners of Without A Trace, a gluten free bakery... Most don't know they are our neighbors and they allow us to park all cars in their fields. Without them it would be impossible for us to pull this off...

We have some pretty cool ideas in the works..

Kids day, and the haunted trail will all be the same day with a alternative raindate.... The Special needs event we will determine when it gets closer but we will definitely do something like before.

Not exactly graceful looking way up there trying to get the rope end.
I don't like being out on horizontal limbs with "top line" horizontal behind me or below me.
