🌙 CRITTER SURVEILLANCE: NIGHT 5 UPDATE 📹

The cameras were rolling, the plan was in place, and we were ready if our hungry suspect returned—but he was a no-show.

No groundhog sighting. No damage to the SunBeckia, cabbage or kale. And no capture…yet.

Our suspect remains at large, but for one night, the greenhouse salad bar stayed closed. Surveillance continues tonight!

🚨 CRITTER SURVEILLANCE: NIGHT 4 🚨

Ladies and gentlemen… we got him! Well, on camera, anyway.

After our trail cameras captured only a mysterious blur, the security cameras finally identified the late-night salad-bar bandit: a groundhog. He arrived around 10:44 p.m., helped himself to our SunBeckia, cabbage and kale, and escaped before we could make the arrest.

He’s still at large—and considered hungry and dangerous—but now we know what he is and when he’s coming. We’re one step closer!

The trail cameras captured something last night—but the image was too unclear to identify it. 👀🌿

🕵️ CRITTER SURVEILLANCE: NIGHT 4

Last night was our first attempt at surveillance. Something triggered the trail cameras near the damaged plants, but we couldn’t make out what it was.

Tonight our greenhouse security cameras are watching the SunBeckia, cabbage and kale. Our leading suspect is still a groundhog, but that hasn’t been confirmed.

We’ll check the footage and keep you posted as the greenhouse critter saga continues!

⚠️ White powder showing up on your pumpkin or squash leaves? Don’t ignore it!

During a routine field walk at Mahar’s Greenhouse, one of our growers spotted powdery mildew. We removed the most severely infected plant and put a treatment plan in place to help protect the rest of the crop.

In this video, we show you exactly what powdery mildew looks like and cover two homeowner treatment options:

🌿 A lower-impact baking soda and horticultural oil spray
🧴 Spectracide Immunox for Gardens
🚜 Plus the commercial field program we’re using at Mahar’s

Early detection makes a big difference. Save this reel for later, share it with a gardener, and follow Hall’s Greenhouse for more real-world growing advice straight from our production fields and greenhouses!

Always read and follow the complete product label before applying any treatment.
