My garden is my inspiration. When I pulled out plump rosy radishes, I wanted to recreate them using my cotton fabric. I handmade radish embroidery late at night when my children were asleep watching my absolutely favorite show Anne with an E. I hope to keep these little vegetables for my children to play in the future while reading Elsa Beskow’s whimsical books. ✨🫜

Little by little I paint all that touches my soul and all things home, motherhood, cottagecore dresses, nature, and a garden. 🪏🌷
I filled all my spaces in our tiny camper home with art, and it makes such a big difference. Walking by these illustrations centers me and remind me what matters most. On those days when I feel exhausted, looking at this kind of art brings a new energy. 🧺🌷💛
I hope to add more and more art pieces to my shop as I grow as a mother and a lover of beauty that dwells in the center of home.
Have a blessed weekend 💛🫶🏻🧺

Three steps and a tiny white door lead to the enclosed spaces of our camper home where I always stir something and chop something and bake something and sew something for my little family. These faithful ordinary things might not mean anything to the world, but they matter so much to the ones that connect their lives with mine… I am putting together small pieces of our daily life here in our cottage where we live and work and struggle and care for each other. Hope to release this next spring vlog very soon to you to give you from scratch meals and gardening inspiration, handmade cottagecore clothing, sewing projects for your home, motherhood, and more atmosphere of our life in the countryside. 🫶🏻💛

Hi! It’s the season of delicious strawberries and we would have had our own from the garden if I didn’t make a mistake transplanting them before the last frost day… now I have to wait another year.
But today in my tiny kitchen I am making Sourdough Chocolate Muffins with my children.
Here is a recipe:
* 120 grams flour ( I split 1:1 ration of freshly ground wheat berries and all purpose flour)
* 1 cup of sourdough starter
* 1/4 cup cocoa powder
* 1.5 teaspoon baking powder
* 1/4 tsp baking soda
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1/4 cup sour cream
* 45 g milk
* 6 tbsp coconut oil melted
* 100 g maple syrup or honey
* 1 egg
* 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
* 1/2 cup chocolate chips
* 1/2 cup chopped strawberries

Mix all wet ingredients with all dry ingredients.
Preheat the oven to 425 F and bake muffins for 5 minutes. Lower the temperature to 350 F and bake for another 20 minutes. 🫶🏻🍓

Leaving with a cart full of Amish vegetables literally makes me so happy. One of my enjoyable outings as a stay at home mama. 🧺
While are vegetables are still young and growing, I brought home farm beets, zucchinis, young baby potatoes, sweet potatoes, strawberries, tiny squash, watermelon, and melon plants.
I am going to turn this into a meal of my childhood. Food that I grew up eating and now am passing it to the family I grow of my own.

I pulled fresh dill from my garden to mix with baby potatoes and soft butter.
I cooked beets, peeled and thinly shredded. Added a drop of olive oil, fresh purple garlic, and small pieces of feta cheese.
I sliced zucchinis into small circles. Added salt and spices. Separately whisked farm eggs and dipped them in eggs and flour.
I preheated fry frying pan and cooked on both sides until crispy brown. You can first dip in flour and then eggs, or if you want a thicker crust, do double dipping in flour and eggs.

This is what I feed my family with and this kind of food always takes me back to my childhood memories.

May you have a restful and happy weekend 🫶🏻🌷

“Boring” country life that I dream of living: farmhouse wrapped in the arms of trees, ringing creek in the woods, the smell of rusty leaves, crackling woodstove, baking bread and pies with fresh picked apples from the orchard, leaving them to cool on the windowsill of the kitchen facing daffodils and bluebells in the woods. 🧺🌻💛
