⚠️ Temporary Store Closure ⚠️

Due to the power outage affecting our area, AO-3D will be closed until power has been restored.

As many of you know, our business relies heavily on electricity to keep our 3D printers running. We also need to monitor our sump pump at home and check on all of our printers once power returns to make sure everything is up and running properly.

We’ll post an update as soon as we’re back open and ready to welcome everyone in.

Today we’re celebrating the stars, the stripes, and the freedom to create, dream, build, and support the communities we love.

From our 3D printed American flag to our red, white, and blue eagle wreath, this video is a little reminder of what makes this country special: hard work, small businesses, creativity, and the people who support them.

And honestly… is there a better soundtrack for Flag Day than Only in America? 🎶🇺🇸

One of the best parts of being a small business is having the opportunity to give back to causes that make a difference in our community. 💗

Today we’re putting the finishing touches on our donation basket for the Breast Cancer Golf Fundraiser at Airport National Golf Course in Cedar Rapids. We’re honored to help support an event that raises awareness, supports survivors, and helps local organizations making an impact.

We also decided to create these pink ribbon keychains, and we’ll have them available for purchase at AO-3D.

🎀 100% of the proceeds from these keychains will be donated to local breast cancer charities.

It’s a small item with a big purpose. Whether you’re supporting someone currently fighting, celebrating a survivor, honoring a loved one, or simply wanting to help, every keychain purchased helps us give back.

From trash to treasure… literally. ♻️✨

You know all those little bits of filament left over from 3D printing? The supports, scraps, failed prints, and random pieces that normally end up in the trash?

We save them. 😎

Then we shred them up, melt them down, and give them a second life!

These new bookmarks are made from recycled filament scraps right here at AO-3D. Every bookmark has its own unique color pattern, meaning no two are exactly alike.

And this is just the beginning! We’re working on introducing even more products made from reclaimed filament as another way to reduce waste, reuse materials, and lessen our environmental impact.

Unfortunately, it looks like Mother Nature has other plans for this evening. ☔

We stopped by the park this afternoon, and with the weather moving through, it doesn’t appear the Swisher Farmers Market will be setting up today. We completely understand and hope for better weather next week!

Since we extended our Thursday hours to coincide with the market, we’re going to go ahead and close a little early today as well.

If you have an order to pick up, need to grab a purchase, or were planning to stop by this evening, feel free to text or call Alden at (319) 462-0580. We’d be happy to run down and meet you if needed!
