One of my favorite parts of the career I’ve chosen isn’t the construction itself—it’s the people I meet along the way.

The time I spend with each customer is relatively short, but it’s amazing how quickly relationships can grow. Whether it’s sharing funny text messages with Kathy 🤪, spending time in the woodshop with Larry, or simply working together toward a common goal, those connections become a meaningful part of every project.

In the end, I have the privilege of helping make someone’s home a little more comfortable, functional, and enjoyable. That is an honor I never take for granted.

This work has shown me the value of trust, the strength of community, and the impact we can have on one another through simple acts of service.

I am truly blessed to walk this path and grateful to every customer who invites me into their lives and homes.

A customer said something to me the other day that made me smile.

She said, “I love that you take such pride in your work.”

I laughed and replied, “Actually, I don’t.”

She looked a little confused, so I explained.

I take pride in my children.
I am proud of my wife.
I take pride in setting personal goals and achieving them.

But when it comes to my work, it is not about pride.

When a customer invites me into their home, they are placing their trust in me. They are trusting that I will do exactly what I said I would do.

Unfortunately, too many people have been disappointed. Insurance claims are denied. Contractors deliver poor craftsmanship. Promises are made, but not honored.

Anything less than what was agreed upon is a broken promise.

As the owner of Tice Remodeling, I refuse to be placed in that category.

If I say I can do the job, that is my commitment.

And when the work is complete, I will honor that commitment. 🙏🔨❤️

Some before and after action. Couple in Mexico had a bad shower pan leak. Went from a repair to a full remodel. converted bathroom door to ADA accessible. Moved the toilet for to have more space to maneuver. Bathroom floor flush with shower floor for for easy walk in. Had a blast remaking the window and door trims with home owner. Two very intelligent people who trusted my services. Was an honor to work for such prestigious people.

A beautiful bathroom remodel done in Baldwinsville, NY. Heated floor with side wall cabinet for extra storage. Outlet in cabinet for charging tooth brush or phone. Full back wall niche in shower with shaving bar in corner. Shower valve installed so homeowner can easily reached to warm up the water. Double vanity with custom countertop. Plug for powering blow dryer also inside vanity cabinet. Wonderful family and super fun project.
