I am so glad my friends asked me to do this job. There is a Steve Harvey sound bite out there somewhere that truly encapsulates my feelings about this particular job but I don't want to spend the time looking for it. You know - something something comfort zone, something something growth.

These walnut cabinets were built custom to match an existing mantel.
Floating shelves will be added soon to complete the custom build.

Further progress on the custom cabinets.
Oak has been very popular and I have worked with it quite a bit the last couple of years. This walnut has been a nice variation. I love how much it changes once the finish is applied.

Finally overcoming the Imposter Syndrome that has prevented me from doing custom cabinets in the past. These cabinets will each flank a fireplace and have floating shelves above them. Stay tuned for more progress...
