As an Architect, Ian LeFever brings a thoughtful and forward-thinking approach to educational design, with a focus on regenerative strategies and long-term impact.

Ian has led the design of over $350 million in K-12 projects across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, ranging from building additions and full-scale modernizations to complex, phased renovations. Key clients have included DC Department of General Services / DC Public Schools, Frederick County Public Schools (MD), Liverpool Central School District (NY), and Whitney Point Central School District (NY).

Hosted by the Children’s Investment Fund, this training program supports the development and improvement of high-quality early childhood facilities through hands-on guidance, technical assistance, and collaboration.

Mike Lindstrom, Joanne Hiromura, Toni Marcoux, and Amy Wolfson will present “High-Quality Environment and the Design Process” on May 20 from 1:15–2:35 PM.

We’ll be diving into how the built environment shapes early childhood outcomes and sharing strategies to create more effective, supportive learning spaces.
