We have over 40 fruiting age fig trees up on FigBid right now. Everything ends Saturday June 20 between 7 and 9 pm Eastern.

🌟All trees from this past weekend’s FigBid auctions are shipped!🌟

Just dropped the whole carload of fig trees at UPS. Big week, lot of boxes, and everything is on its way. Should be delivered by midweek.

Please check your tracking numbers and keep an eye out. There’s a heatwave hitting parts of the country this week, so try not to let your tree bake on the porch when it lands.

Thank you so much for supporting our small business, we appreciate you all.

Summer starts June 21st and we’re rolling right into the season. I might put up a few large trees this coming Saturday, or I might take a breather after these big sales, not sure yet. Either way, next Saturday we’re planning a large sale, about 50 different varieties.

Big trees. Big week.
Here’s a look at today’s load-out. Car is packed full of fig trees, and we had some monsters in this batch. Lots of 4-foot trees headed out this week.
Orders from this run are in the mail and moving. Please keep an eye on your tracking and be ready to get them planted.

Time to revive and salvage this one. Let's see if we can bring it back.

Trip to the Fig Tree ER

This fig was planted last year as a rooted cutting. We did not heat some of the fig houses this winter. A few trees took damage but most made it through. This one died back to the ground. I have been watching for new growth all season and nothing came up. Today I checked below the soil and the bark was slipping off the trunk. The top was dead but the roots were still alive. I dug it up, washed it off, and split the living parts into two pieces to give me two chances. I potted both in ProMix BX and put them in a shady spot in the greenhouse. I will treat them like fresh cuttings and hope they push new shoots.
