Another quality job completed by Pogue Carpentry & Home Improvement LLC 253-302-6290!
This was a job that some inexperienced "contractor" did that was improperly done.The solid surface deck had failed and you can see the dry rot and lack of flashing that was on the original deck.We fixed that with proper flashing where deck meets the wall and the use of the fiber tape product that is used with the Gaco Solid Surface Deck product.Four coats of product to seal the solid surface deck with elevated risers to support Trex Deck product of homeowners choice.Risers or firring strips were used to elevate Trex above solid surface for proper drainage.Recycled the original hand railing and customized this Deck-Entry for a great look to keep with the original charm of this North Tacoma residence.Call us now if you are looking for an honest Contractor with quality and craftsmanship in every project we do!
