I've just now stopped packing orders that need to go out..... It's 7:00pm here on the west coast.
I started at 6:30am, and my butt is kicked! There are 2 of us working like mad in the refrigerator to get orders ready, but know... THIS IS TOUGH! I have had 6 messages today from people asking when their order would be shipped out....... Please everyone be patient!
I'm filling every order asap, and it takes time to add the necessary love in every box, and inspect EVERY tuber....... these orders are complicated and BIG! some of you purchased 50 different kinds! Some 5 of each kind....... My
Dearest hope at current production, that I get the last load finished and out on Monday. So hold on, I'm on it!

As a side note..... My cosmos are starting to bloom, and all our dahlias look beautiful! Amending our fields this year really seems to be paying off! We are in a growth spurt!

We are neck deep in shipping out orders.....
One of our friends package got delayed in Seattle, and looked into it. It seems there may be some outside influences beyond my control hindering shipments. I am sorry for the delays, and for those of you waiting, We are going as fast as we can and making real progress.....

Hi everyone!
Wow! This last sale has been pretty crazy. Thank you so much! We have sold so many tubers! Customers have been buying them in the hundreds..... all of the sudden,
I have 4000 tubers to ship...... I'm pulling out my hair by the handfuls with worry that this goes as it should. I want you to know, that I absolutely understand that you need your tubers ASAP. Even with that pressure, this is going to take a week of 12 hour days to accomplish, so please be patient with me! Please also remember, that we have been shipping orders for 4 months now, and we are getting to the bottom of our boxes.... I always try to give you the most perfect tubers, but this time they may be smaller on a few varieties...... or larger! Some might have Lenticles, or be a little ugly, but know, I would never sell anything I wouldn't be ok receiving myself! Our "little" stuff is better than 75% of the orders we received this year and payed heavenly for! Rest assured that I am on it, and hopefully the first 100 orders will go out monday!

Our family wants to thank all you wonderful customers! With the help of our little dahlia warrior, we have really been developing a little bit of heaven here.... We have been nurturing more than just beautiful flowers, and your support for our family's farm means alot! Hi friends!
Things are finally growing! Everything is adapting well to transplanting, and starting to really thrive! We are by no means finished planting everything, but we are close enough to start thinking about all the other things that come next. Pinching and putting in many hundreds of t-posts for our corralling is next.... Everything at this scale feels daunting, but onward we go down the scenic road of flower farming.... I get the feeling I'm going to lose some weight walking up and down these rows this year!🙂 Weeding is a constant right now, as is straightening water lines that squirm around in the sunshine until the shade from the plants finally calms them down..... I'm trying to limit myself to only doing 10 things at once, but that's kinda hard to do at the moment with so much going on right now........

Sometimes things strike me funny here at our farm...... Everyone is going crazy about their dahlias right now, and the best looking dahlias we have growing at the moment are in our compost bin in the shade!

Hi friends!

I wish I could say that we've been relaxing and taking it easy, but that's not our experience flower farming in the spring. Today, I've spent hours taking cuttings, packing orders, watering plants, putting down more pathway fabric, organized our online sale, answered some emails.... I pulled some weeds, planted more vegetables, and managed to squeeze in pinching our snap dragons! I'm still dreaming of a day off, but that's not happening yet....... happy to say that we have 95% of our Dahlias planted though! I'm just waiting on some cuttings for the last 800 or so...... We do have lots of dahlias already sprouting everywhere, and that feels like a big thing! Our temps have been rapidly swinging from the 60's to the 80's, and then back again, but thankfully the dahlias aren't complaining about it much. Our 6000 seedlings are all in and doing great!
I'm so excited to see what we get this year..... It's very much like waiting for Christmas!
I'm going to keep plugging along here, but know that I'm wishing you all a peaceful gardening experience...... it sounds dreamy, and I sort of remember it being that way.😀
