Another massive paver sanding & sealing project completed.
This pool deck was nearly 3,500 square feet and had years of algae buildup packed deep between the joints. Before sealing, every crack and paver was thoroughly cleaned to remove organic growth and restore the original look of the pavers.
Next, the joints were filled with polymeric sand, which is activated with water to harden and lock the pavers together. This process helps prevent w**d growth, algae buildup, and joint washout over time.
To finish the system, the entire surface was reinforced with a two-part professional clear coat sealer, creating a durable protective barrier that enhances the color of the pavers while protecting them from Florida weather.
This method is significantly stronger and longer-lasting than basic playground sand and cheap sealers often used in quick jobs.
The result is a cleaner surface, stronger joints, and long-term protection that can last 8+ years when maintained properly.
