Because my big brother is awesome :)
We like to shine a spotlight on our clever employees and their array of talents. This time around, Sean Morgan receives the honor. Sean is a registered architect, certified building contractor, and Project Manager for 201 E. Park Avenue, Waller Park, Gables Housing, Jump Start Innovation Center, and many other exciting projects. Outside of our three Principals, he has the longest tenure at ALW. If you’ve seen a smiley, gray-bearded man on a mountain goat of a motorcycle tooling around Tallahassee, it may have been Sean. This summer he’ll be riding the continental divide and camping throughout the Rockies. This provides some insight on Sean’s creative, adventurous character. He’s spent his life creating, drawing, re-building and restoring things. Sean is a Tallahassee native who returned to his home town to join ALW in 2010 after graduating from UF’s Master of Architecture program. Prior to this, he built a storied career as a fisherman, lumberjack, short order cook, sailor, cabinet maker, boat builder, musician, semi-professional traveler, carpenter, home builder and perpetual student. He’s found success in design and construction, but you’ll also see in his career an amalgam of spiritual exploration and proletarian work ethic. Architecture as concept, craft and monument has finally proven to be an anchor for Sean and we are grateful that he is part of our ALW team!
