Today we’re back at this beautiful family-owned hair salon in Hyde Park.

Three years ago, Goldenhandsman transformed this space with Venetian plaster, fresh paint, cabinet refinishing, and even a complete restroom renovation.

Now it’s time for another refresh.

This time, we repainted the walls, baseboards, cabinets, and other surfaces, moved some mirrors, and installed decorative wood panels.

Our goal was simple: bring our client’s vision to life and make this salon look fresh and inviting once again.

A special thank you to Libby 🤩 the owner, for trusting us again with her beautiful salon. We truly appreciate the opportunity to work with her and support this amazing local business.

A damaged door frame can make a home look neglected and insecure 🥲

In this project, the lock had been forced out, leaving part of the door jamb broken and the trim separated from the wall.

We carefully removed the damaged wood, custom-cut a new piece, installed it seamlessly, restored the entire casing, and finished everything with fresh paint.

The result looks like the damage never happened👌

Most importantly, our client was thrilled with the outcome — and his review says it all.

We were scared.

40 bullet holes.

That’s what we walked into.

In 3.5 years of working in America — this was the hardest job we’ve ever done. Not physically. Psychologically.

We carefully removed the old doors, salvaged and reused the hardware, repaired the damaged door frame, installed new metal doors, added trim and painted them.

The client — a father whose son was shot — was very happy with our work. For us, it meant everything just to do something good for him during the worst time of his life.

His son survived. After two months, he regained consciousness. He’s now recovering in the hospital.

Please keep him in your prayers. 🙏

Today we’re working in New Port Richey.

From the outside, this place looks peaceful — beautiful property, quiet area, nice home. But sometimes you never know what people have been through inside these walls.

Our client showed us the damage left after a shooting incident that happened in this home. Seeing bullet holes in a family house in real life is honestly shocking😱

Today we are replacing the damaged doors with strong metal security doors to help make this home feel safe again.

Moments like this remind us that our work is not only about construction. Sometimes it’s about giving families peace of mind and helping them feel protected again.

This cedar gazebo had significant weathering from Florida sun and humidity 🏠

We started by carefully sanding all wooden surfaces to remove the damaged outer layer and create a smooth, even finish.

Proper preparation is the most important part of any exterior wood restoration project.

After sanding and cleaning the surface, our family team at Goldenhandsman applied HGTV HOME by Sherwin-Williams Weather Shield Exterior Semi-Gloss coating for long-term exterior protection and a beautiful rich finish.

The result is a clean, refreshed cedar structure protected against moisture, UV exposure, and harsh outdoor conditions.
