Sometimes asking for help is hard, but it may not be because of what is happening right now. It may be connected to something deeper.

Think about a garden. If weeds keep growing, a gardener cannot just pull off the top part and expect the problem to go away. They have to dig deeper and find the root.

That is the same way with our hearts.

Some Christian women struggle to ask for help because of roots like shame, fear, pride, disappointment, or past hurt. Sometimes we even learn this from watching someone else, like a mother, grandmother, or another woman who always carried everything alone.

But God does not want us to stay stuck.

In this 6-day teaching, we will walk through how to identify the root, understand where it came from, remove what does not belong, plant God’s truth, and begin to see new fruit in our lives.

If you want access to the full 6-day teaching as each lesson is released, join the Getting To The Root Together Skool Community.

When you reach Level 2 inside the community, you will gain access to the full teaching.

What if the reason you struggle to ask for help has less to do with your current situation and more to do with something that happened years ago?

Fear of rejection.
Fear of being a burden.
Disappointment.
Trust wounds.
The belief that you have to handle everything yourself.

These things can quietly shape the way we live without us realizing it.

Next week, I'm teaching a 6-Day Series:
Why Christian Women Struggle to Ask for Help

We'll be getting to the root of what may be beneath the struggle and discovering what God's Word says about support, vulnerability, and community.

What's one word that comes to mind when you hear the phrase "asking for help"?

If you're a Christian woman and ready to go deeper, I invite you to join the Getting To The Root Together Skool Community and participate in the full teaching series that will be occurring next week.

Sometimes what looks like strength is actually self-protection.

Many of us have learned to carry everything ourselves. We pray, serve, encourage, and support others, yet struggle to let anyone support us.

I'm hosting a 6-Day Teaching Series called:
Why Christian Women Struggle to Ask for Help

We'll walk through a biblical process to uncover what may be beneath the struggle and explore how God designed us to live in community rather than isolation.

I'd love to hear your thoughts:

Do you find it easier to give help or receive help?

If you are a Christian woman this topic resonates with you, join us inside the Getting To The Root Together Skool Community for the full 6-day teaching series and discussion.

What is one thing you wish you could say no to without feeling guilty?

Let’s talk about it…

Because sometimes the struggle is not just saying “no.”

Sometimes the struggle is the fear of disappointing people, being misunderstood, or feeling like you are no longer being loving.

But boundaries are not rejection.

And saying no does not mean you are failing people.

If this is something you have been struggling with, a Free Introductory Session may help you begin uncovering what is underneath the guilt, fear, and pressure to keep everyone happy.

Schedule your Free Introductory Session and let’s start getting to the root together.

Have you ever noticed how easy it is to help other people, but how difficult it can be to ask for help yourself?

Many Christian women carry burdens alone, not because they want to, but because somewhere along the way they learned that asking for help felt unsafe, uncomfortable, or even weak.

What if the struggle to ask for help isn't actually the root issue?

Next week, I'll be leading a free 6-Day Teaching Series called:
Why Christian Women Struggle to Ask for Help

We'll explore what may be hiding beneath self-reliance, fear, disappointment, rejection, control, and trust issues using a biblical approach.

What do you think makes it hard for people to ask for help?

If this is something you would like to explore more deeply, I would love to invite you to join the Getting To The Root Together Skool Community, where the entire series will be taught.

Have you ever carried pain from a church experience longer than you expected?

Not because you wanted to hold on to it, but because something in that experience touched a deeper place in you.

Sometimes church hurt is not just about what happened.

It is about what it caused you to believe about people, trust, safety, God, and yourself.

Church hurt can make you feel trapped.

Not only because of what happened to you, but because of what started growing inside you after it happened.

Some people leave church feeling hurt.

Others leave believing they can never trust people again.

What happened was the wound.

But the belief that grew from it became the root.

Some Christian women don’t really struggle with anxiety.

They struggle with control.

And control often grows from fear.

If everything has to go your way before you feel safe, there may be a deeper root God wants to address.

The issue may not be that you need to “calm down.” The issue may be that fear has taught you to manage everything so you don’t feel vulnerable, disappointed, or out of control.

But God does not want you living bound to fear disguised as responsibility.

If this speaks to you, this may be the moment to stop managing the symptoms and start getting to the root.

Schedule a Root Discovery Session so we can begin uncovering what may be underneath the control and what God wants to heal, restore, and uproot in your life.
