Visual overstimulation ahead. 😄
And we mean that as the highest compliment.

This feels like classic Roost—layered, unapologetic, and somehow still harmonious. Leopard underfoot, chandeliers overhead, florals, lacquer, gilt, chinoiserie, mirrors… every square inch is working.

More is more… but only when every layer earns its place. ✨
At first glance, it feels like delicious chaos.

Look again.

The leopard grounds the room.
The chandeliers pull your eye upward.
Gilt frames bounce light.
Pops of coral, blue, black, and ivory create rhythm from vignette to vignette.

This is the difference between clutter and collection.
One overwhelms.
The other invites discovery.

The longer you look, the more you see—and honestly, that’s kind of the point.

A masterclass in balance… with a little bad behavior. 🐅✨
Symmetry sets the stage, but it’s the tension between pieces that makes this work.

Crisp white shelving. Inky black wingbacks. Tiger velvet pillows bringing just the right amount of mischief. Coral, shells, blue-and-white porcelain, lacquered books, and pops of turquoise all layered into one gloriously collected moment.

Nothing matches.
Everything belongs.

That’s the magic of a well-styled shelf—contrast, repetition, scale, and just enough surprise to keep your eye moving.

Warning: entering Roost may result in sudden pillow obsession. 💚🩷
Velvet. Trim. Contrast welt. Chinoiserie prints. Palm motifs. A little plaid for good measure.

Some people want a throw pillow.
We prefer options. Lots of options.

From punchy pinks and leafy greens to soft blush velvet and playful patterns, this corner proves pillows aren’t an afterthought—they’re often the thing that makes the whole room click.

Because sometimes all a chair needs… is a little more drama.

Coastal… but not the obvious kind. 🐚🩵
Not rope knots and anchor signs. Not driftwood with a quote on it.

We prefer shells with presence. Coral with texture. Blue-and-white with history.

Featuring exquisite shell art by Linda Quisenberry (Linda Quisenberry), these hand-crafted pieces transform natural materials into something whimsical, sculptural, and quietly extraordinary.

From shell-encrusted vessels to playful seaside compositions, this vignette feels fresh, layered, and just a little bit grandmillennial—in the best possible way.

And that blue-and-white bowl perched on elephant supports?
Completely unnecessary. Completely essential.

A study in symmetry—with just enough personality to keep it interesting. ✨
These sculptural lamps (giving vintage abacus in the chicest possible way) anchor the vignette with structure and rhythm, while warm wood, gilt mirrors, and layered objects soften everything around them.

The black-and-white cachepot adds graphic punch, the chinoiserie jar brings a collected feel, and even the Louis Vuitton book earns its place—adding a little fashion, a little attitude, and just the right amount of contrast.

Balanced, but never boring.
That’s the sweet spot.

A Chinese deity statue—likely Caishen, the God of Wealth—holding court in true Roost fashion. ❤️‍🔥
The long beard, ornate headdress, and ceremonial scepter all point to prosperity and good fortune… but it’s the patina that really gets us. Weathered turquoise, warm rust, worn gilt—aged in all the right places.

Flanked by bronze guardian beasts and backed by glowing coral chinoiserie jars, this vignette feels equal parts treasure, talisman, and statement piece.

He came bearing wealth, wisdom, and impeccable color coordination.

I especially like “holding court in true Roost fashion”—has a little sass without trying too hard.

Pattern on pattern.
Scale on scale.
Zero fear. 💚

This is what happens when bold choices stop competing and start conversing.

Graphic black-and-white. Acid green. Famille rose. Foo dogs. Scrollwork. Florals. A little lacquer, a little brass, a little irreverence.

It shouldn’t work on paper.
At Roost… somehow it sings.

The trick isn’t matching.
It’s repetition, rhythm, and knowing exactly when to add one more fabulous thing.

👀 Spot the Deets:
🦓 Zebra chairs acting as the graphic anchor
💚 Needlepoint zebra pillows (obsessed)
🏺 Monumental green ginger jars with dreamy relief detail
🐉 Pink foo adding the perfect wink
🌸 Famille rose porcelain bringing the romance

Texture tells the story. 🌿
Courtesy of Mary Ann Kelly, this vignette proves that natural materials can feel every bit as layered and luxurious as gilt and lacquer.
Bamboo, wicker, cane, weathered wood… each piece bringing warmth, movement, and that effortless collected feeling we love.
And then—just to keep things interesting—a dreamy lavender vase and orchids step in with a little softness and color.
Relaxed, refined, and quietly fabulous.
