Dear Loyal Customers,

Thank you for sticking with us during this difficult time. We appreciate each and every one of you! Unfortunately, Schemmlawn & Landscape is in its last week of operation. As of August 24th, we will be closing shop. With Justin in his senior year of college, his schedule is extremely busy. This leaves no time for the business.

Instead of providing rushed or lackluster service, we believe that it’s in everyone's best interest to stop while we are ahead. Doing otherwise would only be an injustice to, Schemmlawn’s quality service that you have grown to love.

Walt treated his customers like family, and that showed in his work. For those who have remained loyal for over 20 years, thank you! We could not have built our foundation without you. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason. Walt never wanted the boys to take over the business. He wanted them to follow their own dreams and their own path in life. Thank you for your understanding.

Dear Valued Customer,

This is Walt’s wife Julie, I’m writing this letter to you with a heavy heart. You may or not know by now but, Walt unexpected passed away on May 2nd. As you can imagine we our still in a state of shock and there are so many things that we need to do and figure out.

Myself and our son Justin (whom you may have already met as he’s been working with Walt for the last 5 years) will be keeping the business up and running. It may take a few weeks to get things running smoothly again. Please reach out to us if we have missed your service or something that needs to be done. As in many small business’s not everything was written down and we are working on piecing everything together.

As we have always been there for you we ask that you please stick with us in this difficult time as I promise you that you will receive same standard of service that you have become accustom too.

In the past you my have contacted us by texting Walt directly, now please either call us at 410-756-2758 (this is a landline so you cannot text) or email us at [email protected].

I’m sorry that this is so brief, but as you can image this is an incredibly hard time for our family now, but I wanted to let you know as soon as possible.

Hope everyone is surviving this heat wave. Remember now is the time of year you want to trim your shrubs to ensure you have flowers in spring. There is about a 1-2 week waiting list so if you are interested let us know soon so you can get on the list.
