It's not the challenges you face, it is the way you face the challenges that tell the world what kind of man you are.
As spring and his 25th birthday approached, the calendar for Ross Landscaping was booked solid when the call that his mom's house burned, leaving not even the car parked in the driveway salvageable. Thankfully, mom was unhurt, and with Ross's help over these last weeks, been able to resume some semblance of a life, interrupted.
Unfortunately, for Ross the life interruptions weren't over.
Our mascot and Ross's four-legged best friend since he was fourteen, began having seizures last Thursday.
What should have been a weekend of birthday celebrations was anything but festive. I can't tell you how heartbreaking it was to watch both of them as they struggled to get through this.
Stubby will never be the same fiercely feline king of his jungle he once was, but he is now comfortable and has been seizure free since Tuesday.
Obviously, with all the schedule juggling at the start of Spring, not everyone is super happy, but the love, support and understanding Ross has received from you has made it that much easier as we resume our normal schedules.
This last month would have been so much more difficult, but for so many of you who treat Ross as not just your landscaper, but your “adopted grandson" as well, we thank you and look forward serving you.
