This space is in the middle of a one-story ranch home and it is big. It struggled to have purpose and was used as a tumbling room and storage. Now, it's known as "The Hangout." 🤍

It's where movie nights happen. Where the teenagers actually want to spend their time and hang with their friends. Where the whole family gathers when they wanna chill.

Because the primary suite is just beyond this wall, I designed a floor-to-ceiling acoustic panel feature to help absorb sound without compromising the look of the space. I also designed a custom trim detail to border the acoustic panels while concealing the backlighting for a clean, seamless finish. Layered drapery frames the backyard views, while a plush rug, sectional, oversized hanging egg chair and cozy textures make it impossible not to settle in.

The best part? It didn't just transform the room... it transformed the way this family lives in their home.

That's what great design is all about.

Proof that square footage doesn't determine impact. Every element- from the wallpaper and wood detailing to the marble, lighting, and brass accents, were selected to make a small room feel unforgettable. It's all about creating an experience, not just designing a space.
