Due to recent events & news coverage, many may be wondering if their clean air systems will be effective against the COVID-19 virus.
We here at Climatize Heating & Cooling have been advocates of indoor air quality control since we started our business. For the past 10 years, we have had firsthand knowledge of just how bacteria & other debris can accumulate in your air system. We personally have clean air systems installed in our homes & office. We understand & promote these benefits, believing that we have the most effective product in the industry.
We have the highest intensity UVC lamps on the residential market today at 180 micro-watts at 1 meter away. With the right intensity & contact time, our air cleaner (UVC) can kill these kinds of bacteria, viruses & microorganisms. The amount of UVC intensity, measured in micro-watts, necessary to kill viruses varies from strain to strain.
The COVID-19 virus is 0.1 microns in size making it highly susceptible to UV-C
Adeno Virus Typle 111 - 3,000 - 4,000 microwatts
Bateriophage - 6,600 mw
Influenza - 6,600 mw
Infectious Hepatitis - 8,000 mw
