We love the A-frame styles!

If you're thinking about building one, consider that they do have their benefits and challenges:

✅ The steep pitch of the roof ideal for shedding rain and snow.
✅ Less material needed for exterior walls due to the roof coming down all the way to the foundation
✅ Typically these homes have very open concepts allowing great views at the outdoors from all rooms
✅ The compact design often reduces the energy needed to heat and cool

⚠️ The steeper roof can require special lumber and installation experience
⚠️ The structure must usually be narrow to keep the roof peek from becoming too tall, making design a bit more challenging
⚠️ Because exterior walls are created by the roof, side walls are slanted, reducing useable wall space and reducing headroom on the upper floors
⚠️ Adding onto an A-frame can be a challenge if not thought of ahead of time....but we did 💪🏼😉

We were honored to attend the West Central Indiana Regional Summit today at the Buell Community Center in Clay City (built by Keymark Construction Inc.). Thank you to the West Central Indiana Partnership for the invitation, we are excited to see the West Central Indiana Community be brought together in the coming years!

We volunteered to be in the first cohort of the Civic Engagement Series, lead by Josh Alsip and team. It was a great experience and we highly recommend it to anyone wanting to be a part of the regional collaboration effort.

We've moved!

For a while, we have been looking for an office space with plenty of room outside to decompress and walk. After a few busy weeks, we are finally moved into our new office in Corporate Square! We are super excited to use our new space, you may spot our team taking a break from our screens and walking up and down Ohio!

This house plan has everything for an amazing day oustide! A screened section of the porch to keep the bugs away, a covered section to keep you out of the rain, and an open area for those perfect sunny days!
