Warm weather means it is time to get the water flowing. We are heading towards drought season once again, which unfortunately means that running sprinklers and filling pools might not be the best option for you. In some cases you may need a second well in order to maintain your water demand. Irrigation wells are a great option for any home. By using a well specific for irrigation you are able to run water without taxing the house well and leaving your family with possibly no water in the prime lawn and garden time. Don't forget to change your cartridge filters! It is recommended to replace your cartridge filter every 4-6 months (4 months is highly recommended) below are a few examples of problems that a cartridge filter not being changed can cause. In most cases your cartridge can become clogged with sediment and various material causing low pressure and potential staining. For others, the existing filter could begin to harbor bacteria. The possibility of low pressure, staining, and bacteria are all great reasons to change your filter.

What is worse than all of this snow? When your tank becomes waterlogged. It is important to replace a waterlogged tank as soon as possible. When the bladder ruptures in a well tank it can in turn cause the well pump to fail. By replacing the tank rather than letting it continue to draw down the life of the pump, you are saving on costly repairs.
