So I have been dealing with some things at the VA and just having a tough year. This is one of the few jobs I have done this year and I am so happy with how everything has came out. Check out the before and after pictures. We will be done with the border tomorrow and new loam and grass seed will be going down to finish everything off.
We eliminated the old concrete pad that was about 6 in thick and demolished the little deck going into the door. I designed the stairs like that so you could access the door from either side of the steps. The look of doing steps like that is like no other it's by far my favorite way to build a set. We used granite treads along with Greenwich Gray ledgestone from the stone yard in Littleton Massachusetts.
The pavers are Cambridge XL 3 peace ledgestone ein the color of limestone quarry blend. For the border we also went with Cambridge brick Alley pavers and the coal color. We went with these colors because the house is a sided in a darker blue so it was a perfect match. Golf follow up with completion pictures within the next two days. I hope all you all enjoy it as much as I have :)

So I never do this but this year it is fitting.

I found out on my 40th birthday last year that my brother from the military passed due to cancer only a short time before I was to go out and visit him.
Derek henrie and I served overseas together with the 101st airborne division back at the beginning of both wars Afghanistan and Iraq.
This kid was one of the most solid people you would have ever wanted to meet. He sacrificed so much for this country only to die at a very young age. Anyone that knew Derek definitely would remember him by being one of the Biggest jokers out there but when s**t hit the fan there was no other person I wanted to have my back.
After the military him and I helped each other through some major s**t that only people that have be down range will know what I'm talking about.
I regret not making it out there before he passed to see him one last time. To joke about the crazy after hour nights in Nashville or parting all night and watching the sun come up in Kentucky.
This memorial day don't thank a veteran. Remember a veteran that has passed and is no longer with us physically but here with us everyday in our thoughts. Keep them memory alive of your fallen brothers and sisters and just know that we have the greatest family in the world.
Take a moment to think about what these last 23 years of war has done to us as a country and don't ever forget the sacrifice so many fallen have made in order for us to live the way we live.
I love ya Derek we will see each other again 🤙🇺🇸🦅

HIRING!!!!! lead mason and laborers. Work are is Southern New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts. Friends please share!!!!!

Lead mason must have all knowledge of masonry and hard scape and be able to run a job with minimal supervision.

Laborer needs to be punctual and a hard worker. We can teach you all aspects of masonry but you're going to have to produce being a hard worker we can't teach that.

Both positions you must have a license and transportation to and from work. Bonuses per job will be giving out on every job dependent on if the job is completed in the time frame discussed and there are no headaches.

We are a veteran owned company and we value hard work, integrity, and attention to detail above All Else. Veterans applying for the position will be given preference.

Paid time off after 6 months of employment and holidays are paid off. On top of weekly bonuses for jobs completed in a timely fashion you will be able to make some serious money. Pay for masons is 30 to 35 an hour and laborers pay is 20 to 25. Raise reviews will be giving every 6 months not a year so I plan on moving you up fast if you can handle the workload.

I'm looking to grow with a few solid people that are willing to put in the time and turn this company into what I know it can become. You will be treated as an equal not just an employee. If you are training somebody there's absolutely no yelling at them at all. I have never talked down to my guys and I don't expect you to either. Mistakes I know will happen it's inevitable that's where the integrity part comes in and as long as we can deal with the issue right away everything will be fine.

I'll be scheduling interviews over the next few weeks and make a decision then for the upcoming season.I already have a few jobs lined up and going on now so if it's the right fit I could give you some hours right now. I'm looking for one to two Masons and one to two laborers. Please reach out via messenger with your experience and tell me a little bit about yourself and we can go from there.
