My hybridizing goal is currently playing out and it’s super cool 😇

I put down a little over 300 seeds and it looks like at least 290ish are up and growing 😅 I may have missed some when counting leaves 🍃

Medium is simply sphagnum moss. No fertilizer yet, but I’ll soon start putting in a light mixture.

Next step is to wait out the growth (maybe transfer to larger container? Idk I’ll see) so I can find a few I wanna keep.

Happy Friday!

I hope this week was filled with success and relaxation. Now it’s the weekend- time to plant shop and see some live music, DUHHH.

I’ve been using pollen from this beautiful to hybridize a few other flowering Anthuriums I have.

What I really love about this guy is the reddish pink petiole insertion site, the super plum reddish/ hot pink emergents, and the final leaf color. It’s not a green green but more an emerald, suede, blue-green teal if you know what I mean.

I’ve got this pollen on a super dark with BRIGHT oozy green veins my I’m hoping to get some of the pink petiole insert color on it while keeping some of the green at the midrib and throughout the end of the veins. We will see!

I’m just getting into hybridizing all my babes and am mainly breeding to hunt for my favored phenotypes. OnceI find the phenotypes I am happy with and/or get overwhelmed with the amount of seedlings I have, I’ll most likely post a few seeds and seedlings for sale. For now im looking to create and select the top of the top from my collection. 💖

Still buzzing over .intl this past weekend! ✨

Yesterday I shared my plant haul and this is my plant related haul ➡️

I got this adorable mini terrarium from .
HOW CUTE IS IT?? They install a mini light in the lid to showcase all of the stuff inside 🥰

Scooped some Prop Drops from ! I’ve never used these before, but definitely have been looking for some aid in propping. I typically have a good turnout when I propagate, but there are some that just won’t. For example, a whole back I chopped up my Monstera deliciousa Aurea and all but two nodes rotted. 🙃🙃🙃 Excited to try this stuff out!
