Another beautiful pine pergola completed. 20 years of jasmine and grape growth brought down the old arbor structure. Cleaned out the grapes and saved some of the biggest Jasmine vines to get her back going quick. Can't wait to see it in a few years when the jasmine fills back in!

Gray stain over brand new concrete that was stained by contractors sand.. Powerwashing wouldn't remove the stains. Acid would have gassed the new grass..

Haven't posted in awhile..Took a little break and been doing a ton of small jobs not worth posting..

Something fun to look at, I got a little muddy doing some never ending pond maintenance yesterday. These waterfall return pumps get silted in and packed with leaves every few months and I get to clean em out. There is a 12" deep system of crate like grates under the rocks, much like a large undergravel filter system for an aquarium. 2 large cased pumps under the grates feeding waterfalls and a stream on the opposite side of the pond. I dam off the pond from the pump return with a 2x12 and plastic, shut off the falls, open the grates and pump it out into the yard with a waste pump while powerwashing the mud slurry towards the pump through the grates.. Takes a few hrs but it's an oddly satisfying job to do.. FIL's pond, ive been taking care of it for a good few years now.
