Looking through my pictures at some of the sunflowers we’ve grown. It’s so cool how many different colors there are. It took my breath away each year when they opened. I loved them so much. 🌻❤️

Brought one of my sweet friends this cutie pie filled with freshly cut roses, rosemary, lemon basil, cosmos, mums, snapdragons, strawflowers, and veronica. 🌸

My first dried bridal bouquet. One of my wonderful summer brides had seen that I did regular dried flower shadow boxes in the past and asked if I could do her bridal bouquet in a light wood shadowbox after her wedding. I said yes. Inside I was a little nervous because they were white roses and it was such an important project and I didn’t want to mess it up. White roses don’t always dry well.
She gave the fresh bouquet back to me after her wedding. After taking it all apart & drying it, I put it away and waited awhile to make sure nothing faded, then reconstructed it once things slowed down. The roses stayed pretty white & didn’t fade. I was so relieved.
She had picked three wild flowers while at her wedding and wanted those dried too, so I included those separately on the bottom of the shadowbox. I was hoping she’d like her dried bouquet & she said she loved it! I’m so happy & can breathe now. 💕
This is a picture of it today before it was delivered. I took a bunch of pictures but many had a glare on the glass. This has a slight one at top but not too bad.

Thankful to still have flowers going,along with new varieties starting to bloom. Nowhere near the amount I had a couple weeks ago before the frost, but still nice to see some things blooming. Cosmos are still going strong, a little bit of zinnias, ageratum, a few dahlias, strawflowers, sunflowers, marigolds and cut flower mums. Next week should be even better with the warmer weather. ❤️

More subscription bouquets heading out to Moneta this afternoon, with many buds still to open & enough flowers in each to separate & fill two vases. 🥰 So thankful we didn’t get a frost here! More subscriptions going out Monday in Bedford & Tuesday in New London. If I haven’t heard back from you, text me at (540)816-3271 or send me a dm. If you need another day & time this week, just let me know. I’m happy to work around your schedule. Oh& I have bulbs for you to plant too! I appreciate you all so much! ❤️

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by the tent today and scooped up dried flower wreaths, dried flower brooms, lavender or made fresh flower arrangements from the pressed flower pumpkin bar! You all did such a wonderful job!

I’m going to try to make some more pressed flower pumpkins tonight as well as more dried flower brooms. Fresh flowers were cut this evening to replenish the flower bar tomorrow. I’ll have dried flower bunches too as well as more dried hydrangeas since they all sold out today.

I’m also going to bring pressed flowers so you can have fun making your own pressed flower jar. I’ll show you how to do it. 🥰

Here are some of the beautiful people with the arrangements they made! I appreciate everyone who stopped by including the ones I didn’t get a chance to take a picture. You all are wonderful!

I will be at Mountain View Vintage Market again tomorrow, from 12-4.
