I have seen multiple people this morning posting about loosing power last night! When that happens your garage door opener won’t work, UNLESS you have one with battery backup! Beware of companies when they try to charge ridiculous amounts for something you were not expecting! Had one yesterday, customer made it sound worse on the phone, was thinking possibly needing new opener. I got there and fixed the opener, their son locked the remotes out. Unlocked it and explained what happened!
