Aaron Benally is a Navajo artist who lives in Northwestern New Mexico. He first began promoting his abstract artwork in 2014 and has since broadened his scope to include landscapes, waterscapes and abstractscapes. The majority of his paintings are done with acrylic and/or oil. He uses a variety of surfaces for his paintings which range from paper to canvas/canvas board to wood panels, rocks and ev

en old license plates. Over the past six years, Benally has submitted his artwork to a number of art shows in New Mexico including shows in Gallup, Albuquerque and Santa Fe.
