When life gives you lemons...... had always been a phrase our family has "lived". We planted this last fall in honor of my future son in laws father. He passed way to young. We had a actual stone engraved with his handwriting of his favorite saving. Now's the time to make this garden look pretty. My tribute to him. Stay tuned for progress.

Soooooo after months of deconstruction, reconstruction, and finish work - we are 99.9% done bringing life back to a wonderful Ticonderoga home. This home was restored with love and care and will "officially" be on the market through NLG Realty October 26th!

Well it's been a while since the hubby and I have done a "project" .
So Covid made us buy a foreclosure this January. I got a tetanus shot and away we went. Not much for me to do until the deconstruction and reconstruction was done by "professionals".
All new plumbing, wiring, removal of all the lathe and plaster, spray foam insulation, new windows, new doors, new siding, new drainage..... a whole new life! All the original wood floors have been restored, as well as some doors and moldings... We'll be repurposing the butlers pantry too!
Been a long project with lots of (expected) unexpected extra things to do......
We're finally about 3 weeks away from completion and I've been working there everyday for the past 3 weeks - working nights on "real" job and days on the flip. "Lemon-aider Homes" is truly taking a "lemon" house and making "lemonade" for some lucky family in historic Ticonderoga, NY!
