Anytime we’re called out for a valve box leak, there’s a good chance it’s one of these older Nelson valves.

Unfortunately, repair parts for these are no longer made, so the best long-term fix is usually a full valve replacement.

Today, we replaced this one with a reliable Hunter PGV valve and got the system back in shape.
