New plantings around what was an overgrown path and patio. 4 arborvitae that were 4' high and across were removed and stella supreme daylilies planted in their place for a low maintenance garden that will rebloom all summer. Cobalt blue pots provide color with annuals.

This garden took 3 years to get under control. It was originally completely overrun with gooseneck loosestrife and mint that had grown for years. After hand-removal of the invasives, it sat fallow for a year, while I monitored any signs of them trying to regrow. Each time, small pieces have to be pulled in order for them not to become reestablished. After that, I slowly began replanting with better behaved plants. It's finally recovered and is looking great. Always make sure you read up on what plant you're adding to your yard. You don't want to cause a serious problem that might take you years to resolve!
